SPRINGFIELD — U.S. Senate candidate Don Tracy today announced endorsements from a respected group of current and former Illinois Republican Party officials. The support from these influential leaders signals strong, unified momentum for Tracy's campaign, which centers on strength, leadership, and common-sense solutions for Illinois families.
The list of endorsers includes individuals who have served the Republican party at national and state levels, reflecting Tracy’s deep roots across Illinois and his commitment to representing the entire state. Don was previously endorsed by a broad coalition of state legislators. With these key endorsements from party leaders, he has received 23 highly sought-after GOP endorsements to-date.
Endorsers include:
Richard Porter, Former Illinois RNC National Committeeman
Jeanne Ives, State Central Committeeman (IL-03)
Myles Nelson, State Central Committeeman (IL-13)
Larry Smith, State Central Committeeman (IL-14), LaSalle County Republican Chair
Cynthia Lamar, State Central Deputy Committeeman (IL-13)
Tim Schneider, Former Illinois Republican Party Chairman
“Don Tracy is what Illinois needs. He’s normal,” said former RNC Committeeman Rich Porter. “He’s not a slick insider. He’s also not a totally untested outsider without any institutional knowledge. He’s been all over the state, and he knows all the rich complexity of life in Illinois. What you see is what you get: a good man who believes in America and trusts Americans. Don Tracy will be the same guy in DC that he’s been his whole life: a champion for common sense solutions and an advocate for working families and small businesses.”
The endorsements reflect a growing consensus that Illinois needs a strong leader who will focus on lowering the cost of living and restoring common sense.
“I’m honored to have the support of leaders who understand what working families across Illinois are facing,” Tracy said. “While career politicians push extreme agendas and favor special interests, families are struggling with the rising cost of living. I’m running to deliver common sense solutions and defend the American Dream for Illinoisans all across our state.”
Don Tracy is available for phone, video, and in-studio interviews.
